CUSTOM BLENDS

A Perfect Fit.

Finding the right blend of grains and fibers to fit the technical needs of your product can be a challenging task. But Grain Millers is up to the challenge. Our blending services have the benefit of being onsite, so when you choose a value-added blend instead of individual ingredients, you automatically save on transportation and bulk packaging costs, plus minimize shipping delays. Need an allergy-friendly blend? Our facilities are nut-free, dairy-free, and egg-free.

Have an existing blend specification you’d like us to match? Grain Millers can work with that. Or partner with our technical staff to create a blend that meets your specific function and label requirements.

We produce a variety of dry blends, including:

  • Multigrain Bread Pre-Mixes
  • Bread Mixes
  • Cereal Mixes
  • Cookie and Brownie Mixes
  • Batter and Breading Mixes
  • Wheat and Multigrain Tortilla Mixes
  • Customized blends based on needs

TRANSPORTATION SAVINGS

At Grain Millers, we like to get right to work. Our blending facilities are strategically located on-site at our Eugene and St. Ansgar mills. That translates into transportation savings that can significantly reduce the final cost of your product. It also reduces your risk of weather-related transportation delays while cutting the packaging costs of transporting unfinished goods.

Economies of Scale

Grain Millers maintains strong relationships with other ingredient suppliers from whom we purchase a variety of ingredients for existing blends. When you use our blending services, you can leverage our buying power.

Packaging Options

You have plenty of options. After blending, your product can be delivered via bulk truck, placed into industrial totes (super sacks) or into various bag sizes. Tap into our retail packaging services for even more cost savings.

Purchasing our products from distributors is a good solution when you are not able to meet our 10,000 lb. minimums.

You can order smaller quantities, improving turns and reducing cash flow.

You receive the product sooner, distributors are in your area that carry our products. You could possibly have your oats that same day or weeks sooner than buying direct.

If purchased outside the US and Canada, you are purchasing stock in the same currency. Distributors will be purchasing stock in different currencies which can often have major implications if there are any big fluctuations in foreign exchange.

You pay less in shipping costs. Shipping in bulk is less expensive compared to individual bags in quantities less than our minimums. A distributor will pass this cost savings to you through a lower delivered than buying direct.
