Day Shift Warehouse Loader

Our Warehouse Loader is responsible for checking trucks in, loading trucks for shipment, operating a shag truck to move drop trailers into docks and bulk pneumatic trailers into loading bays for filling.

Some primary responsibilities include loading product onto van trailers to ship to customers, staging loads in accordance with the shipping schedule, completing appropriate documentation and record keeping for shipping and warehousing, warehouse organization and inventory management, making sure all trailers are up to our robust food safety standards before loading, and working as part of a team.

In addition to great time management and organizational skills, we are looking for a team player who works well in a small group setting. We are wanting you to already have some forklift experience (experience with industrial drive-in racking is a plus) and experience backing up semi-trailers with a yard truck is preferred as well. However, if you have some applicable experience and the right attitude, we would be willing to train in one or both areas.

This position works 12 hour shifts 4 on 4 off from 6AM -6:30 PM.

Night Shift Canister Line Operator

  • Work weeks consist of 12-hour shifts from 6 pm - 6:15 am Monday - Thursday.

Regular Duties and Responsibilities include:

  • Set-up, operate and troubleshoot the Canister Line operation based on customer specifications.
  • Enter lot code information into the computer system and verify accuracy.
  • Complete Quality checks as scheduled. This includes metal detectors, weights and lot codes.
  • Observe machine operations to ensure quality and conformity of filled or packaged products to standards.
  • Adjust machine components and machine tension and pressure according to machine specifications for size of canister to ensure quality and conformity to product.
  • Communicate with supervisor and scheduler on production schedules, quality issues and supply problems.
  • Clean, oil, and make minor adjustments or repairs to machinery and equipment.
  • Maintain a clean work environment.

Essential Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to analyze information, machine and process to troubleshoot mechanical problems.
  • Basic knowledge of repairing and maintaining mechanical and electronic equipment
  • Ability to communication and participate in team-based decision-making processes.
  • Ability to coordinate and organize production runs.

Physical Demands

  • Ability to walk and stand for an extended period of time.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to remain alert for a 12-hour shift

THIS POSITION WORKS 4 ON 4 OFF Shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM

Are you looking for a new opportunity to start fresh? This position is responsible for operating the toting stations, loading bulk trailers, moving pallets of product into the warehouse area for storage and to clean respective equipment and areas of all the above mentioned. Must have the ability to communicate and work as a team member and know and follow all safety and good manufacturing practices.

Responsibilities and regular job duties:
Operation of tote filling systems to process orders according to customer specifications.
Operate forklifts in tight areas.
Operate commercial stretch wrappers.
Operation of the inventory system to label toted product with lot #, weights and product ID.
Communicate with the roller operator for daily production schedules.
Load pneumatic trailers with flaked product.
Move and organize palleted product to the warehouse.
Assist in warehousing product.
Assist with Re-stacking 50 lb. bags, stretch wrapping, and labeling bags prior to storage.
Record SPC data, and follow sterile sample procedures.
Complete QA checks and paperwork.
Assist the Bran/Flour Helper when necessary to meet customer demands.
Maintaining a clean work environment.
Responsible for keeping the feed tote station and supply storage area swept and free of damaged product.

What You Will Be Doing:

Are you looking for a new opportunity in the maintenance profession for a growing company with industry leading benefits? We have an opening for a 12-hour maintenance tech who works Noon to 12:30 am or an afternoon/overnight shift of their choosing on a 2/2/3 schedule. This role includes PM's (preventative maintenance) and performing various maintenance tasks to get equipment back up and running. You will communicate with operations and support personnel to achieve operational goals and be responsible for following all good manufacturing practices and policies to maintain food grade processes. We work as a team with all areas of production, management, and maintenance. This position will have you using various hand tools, welding, fabricating, machining, and more. You will also be tasked with operating a maintenance information system that tracks all PM's and workorders. Our facility has equipment throughout many different areas. You will be tasked with climbing ladders, using catwalks, and working in different climates.

Who We Are Looking For:

We are looking for the type of person that likes to figure things out and dig into a problem. Previous maintenance, welding, and millwright experience is preferred, but we are willing to train candidates with a willingness to learn and strong work ethic. The successful candidate must be able to multitask, work as part of a team, have sound decision making skills, and able to work safely. What You Will Be Doing:

Our flagship United States mill in St. Ansgar Iowa is seeking a 4 on 4 off Night Shift Quality Assurance Technician. This position works 6pm-6:30 am. Our QA Technicians are responsible for approving and signing off on all shipments of industrial products prior to shipment, analyzing and maintaining records on incoming grain, in-process product, and finished product, reporting QA issues to management and operators to ensure production is correct and product meets specifications for safe quality product, and other duties as assigned.

Some day-to-day testing functions will include Moisture Analysis, Bulk Density, Absorbtion, Granulation Analysis, Enzyme Level Determination and Foreign Material Counts.

You must be able to work on your feet, climb stairs and ladders, and remain alert throughout a 12-hour overnight shift.

We would prefer someone with an Associate's degree in a food science or other scientific focus or previous food manufacturing and testing experience, but we are willing to train candidates with a willingness to learn and strong work ethic.
