Packaging Options

We offer a variety of packaging solutions sized to suit your needs. From retail pouches to one-ton soft totes, we have the equipment to fill it all. Most ingredients are sold in 25lb bags, 50lb bags, or 2000lb totes. The smaller packaging is generally used for our co-packaging service, but arrangements can be made for orders of sufficient quantity. Please feel free to ask about specialty packing.

Pouches   Availability   St. Ansgar These pouches are heat-sealed on three sides and contain a polylining for shelf stability. Typically used for instant oatmeal and mix-in seasonings for easy-to-prepare meals. Private labeling is available for our pouches. Weight: 1 - 1.5 ounce (28.4 - 42.5 grams)

Canisters   Availability   St. Ansgar Commonly used for bulk sales to price-conscious consumers, these canisters can house a variety of grain-based products made to your specification and covered with your brand label. Weight: 18 - 42 ounces (0.5 - 1.2 kg)

Retail Bags   Availability   Eugene Yorkton St. Ansgar These bags are perfect for selling ingredients to bakeries and consumers who like to bake. We'd be happy to use your brand name and product description for this packaging option. Weight: 2 - 12 pounds (1 - 5 kg)

Wholesale Bags   Availability   Eugene Yorkton St. Ansgar These bags provide an excellent means for transporting our quality ingredients to your facility. The size of these bags allows for easy handling and emptying into blending equipment. Our bags are typically made from 3-ply paper which is heat sealed, and have a pinch bottom. Other bag styles may be available. Weight: 25 or 50 pounds (11.35 or 22.7kg)

Totes   Availability   Eugene Yorkton St. Ansgar Called totes, soft totes or super-sacks depending on the manufacturer, these polyethylene woven collapsible containers provide an excellent means of transporting large shipments to your facility. Weight: 1500 to 2000 pounds (680 to 908 kg)

Bulk Rail / Bulk Truck   Availability   Eugene Yorkton St. Ansgar If your facility has the ability to store bulk grains, Grain Millers can ship directly via bulk truck or rail car. This cuts down on packaging costs and on discarded packaging, creating a solution good for your bottom line and the environment.
